Great service , top notch food, great drinks, and awesome atmosphere, reservations are a must.

The calimari wasn't tender and not good. Waitress was good

The food was very good but pricey nice sonic views what l didn't like is that l had reservations and had to wait about 15 minutes. l I understand that the waiters are not going to tell people to leave that they have reservations but the customers should know due to the that people are making reservations and they just sit there and talk and spend long periods of time there was a table that when I sat and we're there before us and we left and they still stood and we were there for over an hour so I think that is unfair I will go back but not so soon

I've been to alot of places from California to New England and this is by far one of the best food experiences I've had in a long time

Had a wonderful lunch with my husband today. We had lobster roll, scallops, fish and chips. Great atmosphere watching boats in the harbor and the rotating bridge. Lots of fun, good food and friendly service!

Really nice restaurant right on the water! Good seafood, but a smaller beer selection. The seafood was fresh, and the bathrooms were clean. You can't ask for more then that!

Went here before going to see Mama Mia at the Z. We wanted to sit out on the patio and after speaking with the hostess about wait time, they said we should have enough time. When we sat, it was getting close to the time we had to leave, and after explaining this to the waitress she completely understood, and took our orders right away and was very accommodating, she got our orders in, brought them right out and when she saw we were done she came right over, packed us up, billed us out and had us on our way! I got the fried seafood platter, and it was SOOO good! Highly recommend it. And, even though the season for outdoor seating is coming to an end, if you go when it's available, I suggest it.

Moderately upscale harbor-side restaurant. Excellent seafood menu, great cocktails. Nice inside atmosphere and relaxed deck outside. Great location on Pope's Island between New Bedford and Fairhaven, MA.

Decor was great, winter so it wasn't the typical marina scene and the place was still cozy. Food was fabulous and bar staff extra nice.

we were having our monthly family day. we didn't really have anywhere to go, or anything to do. so we started googling around looking for for things to do and places to go/eat etc. Fathoms Bar & Grille came up, we voted . so Fathoms it is. every plate of food was cooked to perfection. the drinks were perfectly blended, a good strong, but not over bearing drink. beautiful dining on the water, inside and outside. and most importantly, the service. service with a smile, very pleasant courteous, prompt. nothing wrong. and I speak for my entire family, because we all agree. I (we) give Fathoms 5 stars. but adding my own stars, I give a 10. shout out to Trish K. Grace and Liz 😊 thank you for a wonderful family day!! oh yeah, then at the end they brought out special BIRTHDAY treats and congrats treats for mom and my son!!

Solid night out. Great food and service.

Fried oysters were excellent. Beer was cold. Service was good. Not very crowded but the tables are way too close together. Felt very cramped. The view should have been great but all of the outdoor furniture was shrink wrapped in front of the windows in a high stack and we couldn't see anything.

Always a great experience love the bartenders they always make the experience the best and fun.

Decided to come here for my anniversary. Made reservations, but after being seated we didn't see a waitress for 25 mins to take our order. Martini was horrible, service was horrible (never once asked how things were even though you could see we weren't drinking our drinks or eating our food), and the food was mediocre at best. That's assuming you like lukewarm food, overcooked seafood, and getting the opposite of what you ordered (sides). Very disappointing since this was our first time out to eat since the pandemic began.

Always fun to watch the commercial fishing boats glide past the revolving bridge.

I often take my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is tasty and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we have a delightful time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Attentive staff and some of the best seafood available. Expect a little wait during dinner time on the weekends. But, it's well worth it.

Lobster roll was tasty but the staff was a bit overwhelmed. I don't blame them but definitely could use some more servers on their busy days. Not gonna fault the establishment too much for that.

Delicious Food. Friendly Staff. Took good care of our party of 15 very well. Will return again. They allowed a reservation to be made around the Christmas Holiday. Thank you very much for great service and being so accommodating :)

Just really good food with a view of the fishing boats

My 1st trip to Fathoms was over a year ago and I was not really impressed. I went to a Birthday dinner this time around and had a completely different experience. They definitely stepped up their game.

Best this side of NEW Bedford you have to try it out. Another one of the fine restaurants , that are far and few between very accommodating. Even though they were very busy they got us a table. The food is absolutely fabulous

Ate on the outside deck where there was good spacing. Tables also available on back patio outside. Menu selection good with seafood the star. Fish Mozambique delicious, calamari good size. Fried scallops a treat for us and no complaints on any of our choices. Fathoms 5 stars are well earned.

Excellent lobster quesadilla & best sweet potato fries I've ever had! Nice waterfront patio & I even enjoyed the music! Wonderful dinner & chill atmosphere.

We went on a Friday night and the place was packed. The service was excellent and the food was great. And reasonable. I had the baked stuff shrimp with crab meat stuffing.. Not only was it great but they gave me 5 of them. The only time I've had them that good was when I made them. You have to try this place. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere. Right on the water. Watch the boats pass right by. Music just a tad to loud. Besides that food is excellent and came fast.

Lobster bisque was cold and lobster rolls bun was over cooked very hard, my daughters Newburg sause was just Luke warm. Haven't been there in about five yrs won't be back. So sad they went downhill.

Good food and service on a not busy night due to the bridge being closed. Not busy does Not mean quiet. I was able to get a booth here which I have never been able to get before when alone, even though I was offered a high top table after asking for a booth. The chowder was hot and full of potatoes, clams and flavor. The baked stuffed shrimp had good taste as did the mashed potatoes and asparagus. The sirloin tips were also good. The Bloody Mary also was tasty. Tricia, my waitress was helpful and attentive. I hope to find another not busy night to try other entrees. The point lost was due to being offered a highboy table after asking for a booth and the noise factor. Nobody was kept waiting for a booth by my taking it. BTW- a spotless top grade bathroom-cleaner than IHOP dining area last time I was there.
